I don't think it looks like Michael Jackson, far from it, but it does have a certain Picasso-esque feel to it. And there are a few reasons for this.

1. The head is too large on top. It might be just the hair, but it gives the whol head an odd shape.

2. The eye is painted as if you're looking at it straight on, but you're not. You're looking at it from the side. the "straight-on" eye also makes her look like a cyclop.

3. There's no hint of a second eye, like eyelashes stiking out from behind the bridge of her nose.

4. She has nof forehead and her chin need some reshaping.

5. The ear could also use some more work. It has a lot of twists and turns which makes it difficult to paint, so your best bet is to find a good reference picture. Having good references is vital when you're trying to paint something new and unfamiliar. Just look around DA, there are hundreds of great stock-artists out there.
