It's been almost 7 months since my last update, and I have neither zombie apocalypse nor alien abduction to blame for my absence, unfortunately. Just mundane RL getting in the way of interwebs awesomeness
So, a lot has happened since last we spoke. I have moved to a different part of the country, quit my job in the book store, got a new job at Akademika, got a new boyfriend (yay ) and I've decided to go back to school. Currently waiting for the green light from several schools, chief among them Westerdal School of Communication.
I have been accepted to Master's Programmes at both Exeter and University of Edinburg, but have given them both a big fat NO! Priorities change...
Artwise things have sort of stagnated. Not had much time for anything really, what with new job, new place, my best friend's wedding and so on and so forth. Once the wedding is over and I've finished moving into the new new place, I'll hopefully get to do some painting again
Oh, I finished my book, and I've been rejected by three publishers already. Yay!
That's all she wrote.
- Tattersail, out!
PS: Thanks a hundred million billions for all watches and favourites! You guys rule

My book is out!
The last few years Ive been focusing on my writing, and in 2022 I got picked up by a small press publisher called Champagne Book Group. After a lot of work my debut sci-fi novel, Let Slip the Beasts, was published last month! Let Slip the Beasts is about a ragtag group of genetic experiments who have escaped the lab in which they were made, and are now out to get revenge on their makers. You can find it wherever you normally get your e-books :D Tattersail, out!
Man, have I hit a
slump! I haven't drawn or painted or written anything in ages! All my time is sucked into this black hole called life, and the internetz. God, I waste a lot of time on imgur and facebook...I should quit it.
I'm also in the process of moving to a new house, so all my things are scattered all over the place, and there are workers seemingly 24/7 in hourse, refurbishing and stuff. Just a few more weeks...I hope.
In the meantime I have a blog where I post old stuff and WIPs...you're welcome to check it out :P

Hey you! Yeah, you! I saw you checking me out...
And I would like to say thank you for adding my stuff to your collection, and liking my paintings
so much you made it one of your favourites. I really, really, really appreciate it!!
I know we haven't talked in a while, but I'll try my best to remedy that. You are important me.
No, really, you are.
Truth is, I've hit a bit of a slump, and drawing hasn't been my first priority lately. There's just
not enough hours in the day, you know?
Anyway, thank you!
And
what would you like to se me draw next?
- Tattersail, out!
I have a new crush
An art crush, that is. His name is Henry Asencio, and he is wonderful. I saw some of his pieces in an art gallery in Las Vegas and fell head-over-heels in love!
I wound up discussing eqphrases, and the connection between art and literature with the curator. Ah, good times.
That said, I've just returned from a three week roadtrip in the US, from New York to San Fransisco, most of it on the old Route 66. You can be jelly now :)
